One Loft Race Update -- June 4, 2010

Friday, 04 June 2010 19:56
Due to the various type of sickness affecting many lofts lately, the breeding of some OLR members have been affected. Mount-Sea One Loft was not spared when sicked birds were entered and eventually affected the other birds in the loft. The Organizer has constantly disinfected the loft to avoid the virus and bacteria from spreading. However, to avoid an outbreak, the sick birds were culled. The Organizer is checking the records to inform all members concerned to replace the birds ASAP. It is difficult to return the rings affected.
In this regard, we are adopting the following rules:
Mount Sea OneLoft will continue to accept birds for those members with pledges or members filling up their entries, i.e., 5+1, 10+2 or 15+3 (all birds must be OLR banded).
Birds with club band will be accepted as replacement for those birds culled.
Acceptance of birds is limited only to those applicable on #1 & #2 with a final dateline of July 31, 2010
